Return to the cave of time is fun because I like how I get to choose whatever I would do in real life instead of going along with the character in the book. I also like how the author writes with excitement and scariness at the same time. I would recommend it for starting readers/5(6). It was pretty random and unpredictable, like the first, so the style is either love-or-hate. I loved this book, and found the different time periods interesting. Perhaps the highlight of Return to the Cave of Time is where the reader is placed in a time period 5 minutes ahead of everyone else. It proves to be interesting and very complicated to.
